We visited here a couple of weeks ago, the service was excellent and the staff were friendly.
Do not be put off by the size of the place as it is a little on the small side and the tables don't look brilliant, however, the food is to die for, everything is home made even the bread that comes with the soup. The vegetable soup was superb and to find a 'sunday roast' in an Italian restaurant seems strange but the food was excellent, the meat was tender and very very tasty! Home from home.

You won't be disappointed and booking is recommended.

The best Italian Restaurant in Urmston. Well established and a local highlight for eating. Me and my family had our Christmas Eve meal here and as usual everything was well organised, the meals were well prepared and all the table was catered for at the same time, food was great recommend the Garlic Bread either traditional or the "Versuvio" (hot) both are spot on. Prices remain very resonable including the drinks not over priced like some. All in all a well appointed restaurant.

The Italian job is a bit of an institution in South East Manchester. It's been going for years, a feat in itself for any restaurant. It's been extended and is now a very busy place especially at weekends. The spare ribs are probably the best I have tasted but all the food is good. Prices are standard for an out-of-town-centre venue, not especially cheap but you don't come out feeling like you have just blew your monthly budget either.
Service has been a little hit-and-miss on occasion but they seem to have sorted that out last couple of times I was in. Good menu range and some good daily specials as well. Recommended.
