My friend purchased a groupon voucher for 4 a decided to take our mums out on Saturday 22nd March. The Meze was delicious and well worth the money. The atmosphere was brilliant, although a bit of a squeeze. The entertainment was brilliant with bouzuki players on the stage and the dancers were great. It was fun dancing with the staff, and the disco at the end was good.

There are reviews on here which complain about the Meze. a Meze is a sample of each dish, where you may only get one or two items, but by the end of the night you are full, well i was.

i would definitely go again.

What a fun night! Although the restaurant is a bit tightly packed, the atmosphere is fantastic. The furnishings are typically basic Greek style and the food is home-cooked Meze and is delicious. The Staff are all very friendly and helpful and join in with the dancing and fun at the end of the night.
This is a little bit of Greece in Manchester and definitely a night to remember, but not Posh!!
Drinks were a bit expensive and the House White Wine s very dry so be careful if that is not to your taste.

Do not expect a 3 course meal if you are getting a meze. A meze is a taster of lots and lots of things. I was fairly full when they told me that was the starters. We had a shared dessert plate, yummy. The wine is expensive, and a bottle of beer is £4, so lots had jugs of water. The dancing which starts after the food has been eaten is fun to watch, you are invited to join in. It is very loud (even during the meal time) and sat across the 2 seater table we struggled to hear
each other talk. We would go again.

There were 28 of us on a night out on 28th february 2014. The evening got off to a good start with everyone looking forward to the meal. The meal was served in portions enough to feed 4 at a time. The first course was an abundance of Pitta bread and dips, the 2nd course was a greek salad (between 4), 1 squid ring, 1 small kebab, 1 piece of supposedly chicken, the main course was 2 small pieces of beef (stifado) and approx 2 tablespoons of rice each, we never got the sweet!! The entertainment took a while to get going, they say they have been open for 34 years well it looked like they were bored to tears. Eventually the host got a couple of people who had something to celebrate up onto the dance floor after smashing 2 plates it was supposed to symbolise trsdition but I reckon it were an irate customer who was suffering from hunger pains, anyway everyone joined in, like you do to make the best of a bad job, I noticed the host was very very angry and bossy whilst trying to get people to do ehat could only be described as a game of Twister, eventually everyone calmed down and we started to sort out payment for the bill, the host told poor Carol that he was charging her for the people (4) that didn't turn up!!! Well as an after thought I,m glad they didn't as there would of been less food than there was!!! Well the moral of the story : If you get invited to go to Bouzouki by night make sure you leave yourself some supper for when you get home!!!!! Would not go back.com!!!

We are commenting here not as a direct response to this review which we find laughable in its attempt to be humorous.
For those that read these reviews we just want to explain the structure and timing of our Greek Meze Banquet. It is served in dishes to the middle of the table for people to share in groups of 4 as the reviewer rightly points out. It is served at least over an hour or more. Our staff are trained to inform customers that at the end of the Banquet they are welcome to ask for extra servings of dishes they particularly liked. We have been doing this for 27 years (not 34 but we hope to get there) so the fact that we are one of the busiest nightspots in Manchester for so long speaks for itself. Obviously the person that wrote this review missed the information about the ability to order extra servings and in any case people that want extra food they ask for it without us having to tell them anything.
As far as the entertainment goes we have to repeat that we are here for 27 years so there must some people out there that enjoy themselves at our restaurant and keep coming back. We understand of course that we can't please everyone and that a small minority of people with a certain temperament may find the style of our show and entertainment not suitable to their taste.

I purchased a 15 course meze through Groupon - £46 for 4 people.

We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the restaurant, as from the outside it doesn't look that appealing, however the staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was great and we had a good table, as we arrived slightly early.

We were served drinks pretty quickly and we didn't have to wait that long for the starter courses to arrive. The food was delicious, however the portion sizes were disappointing. We were sat next to a table with just 2 people and they seemed to get the same amount of food as us for 2 less people. I filled up on pitta bread, just in case the main meal courses were of similar size and I wasn't wrong. We were given rice, stifado, chicken, mushrooms and some pasta bake type thing and each of us could only have a spoonful of each, as there wasn't enough.

Overall, we were all slightly disappointed with the quantity of food, but we all stated it tasted delicious (the little bit that we had!!!). I definitely would have been annoyed if I'd paid £25 per person.
