Food & service are always excellent!!! The only points which let it down slightly are that it's usually a bit too dark in there even in the toilets and it is expensive, other than that, perfect!

Great welcome from the two ladies on reception and bar staff with well mixed drinks. Ian, our waiter was the epitome of what a professional waiter should be, attentive with a great knowledge of the food but particularly the wines, gave an excellent choice. Very good evening, very atmospheric thanks to staff, only let down was the much reduced size of the Chateaubriand, no longer the impressive dish that Gaucho used to produce. Hope this is not the way ahead, the staff deserve better for their efforts.

I have been to Gaucho several times and can always rely on the restaurant to impress on special occasions. It isn't cheap, but its worth it. The steak is beautiful and the restaurant itself is very dramatic and has a great atmosphere. Would recommend but only if you're planning on splashing out!

This restaurant is 10 out of 10. The atmosphere, food and service are excellent. My starter was simple (Chorizo Sausage) simple and doesn't look much but is the most tastiest sausage I have ever had. A colleague of mine likes his steak well done and most places we've been to either it still has pink in or its burnt to a crisp and is chewy, his steak was huge and cooked to perfection no pink and very very tender. I had fillet steak which was also amazing. It is expensive but well worth it especially for a special occasion, the waiter was extremely helpful he explained the menu thoroughly and clearly and was very attentive and even walked us to the Living room bar after as we didn't know where to go. We've booked up again to go next month, thanks Gauchos. ]

One minor whinge, would be the drinks are REALLY overpriced. It could also do with some better lighting.

My husband and I are regular visitors to Gaucho in Manchester and always have a lovely evening here.
The service is exceptionally warm and friendly, yet still professional. The perfect balance.
The venue itself is stunning, by far the best in the city centre in our opinion, and is tastefully decorated.
The food is faultless, amazing steaks as you would expect from a restaurant of this nature, and we particularly like the little 'extra touches' such as the gratis selection of breads while you are waiting for your meal.
Just one thing to be aware of....whilst the food prices are relatively standard to city centre prices, some of the drinks prices are a little steep so be sure to specify exactly which brand you require, particularly with the port.
Lovely food, beautiful venue, amazing service.
