Our first visit, although we eat in manchester regularly. Loved the setting, quite dark but luxurious and atmospheric. Cow hide seats and black and white decor with large chandeliers. We ate on Friday night at 9.30pm, our table was ready when we arrived. One of the best things about this place was the staff who were very friendly and professional, taking time to explain the menu, recommend wine (and allowing us to sample a couple to determine our preferences) We felt looked after and the service was personal but not overpowering. The cuts of steak are bought to the table for you to see and to help you choose the most suitable. The food once cooked was lovely, portions good, menu was not huge but enough choice, We had steak and fish main courses both were enjoyable. Will definitely be returning.
