Stayed in Manchester overnight for the Christmas Market, brilliant.
Whilst there we had some Tesco vouchers to get rid of so we decided, for a change, we would visit Bella Italia on Deansgate. We normally do Cafe Rouge so we fancied Italian this time.
This place gets busy, and those of you who had read my reviews before will know that, if it's busy I think it's usually a good sign.
This was no exception. The staff are very friendly, very helpful, even when rushed off their feet.
The food was excellent. We chose from the Al-a-carte menu and had a Bruschetta and a garlic bread with Olive Oil to share for starters then Beef Calzone each for main course, (you could share this dish as it's a large helping). Following this we had a sweet between us, (Cherry, chocolate ice cream), out of this world but bad for the figure. With four large glasses of wine the whole thing £60 for two. This may sound expensive but for the food quality, atmosphere and service I considered it not bad.
We will certainly frequent this one again, (nut maybe cut down on the quantity).
