Having recently been inspired to cook Tapas by Omar Allibhoy and his Tapas Revolution cookbook the chance to get someone else to cook for me was an opportunity to try Evuna. Spanish food served by Spanish waiters in a beautiful and atmospheric setting Evuna delights the palate with stunning dishes with fantastic flavor.

I had a selection which included Pork Cheeks, Galician Style Hake, Albondigas and the house Potatoes which were served with a dipping mayonnaise, to drink I went for the weeks special, a delightful red wine.

Would I go back, oh yes. Had a fantastic unhurried evening and tasted the most delicious food. Good value for money Evuna is a must try if you find yourself in Manchester overnight.

I will be back.

This restaurant doesn't look much from outside but inside there was a very nice vibe. It is quite an intimate setting without the tables being too close together and our table for six felt quite private. The service was friendly and efficient and it was very nice to have Spanish waiters making it more authentic.

We chose from the tapas menu which was 3 dishes for £9.99. When the food came, it was nicely presented and very tasty. It could, however, have been hotter. The squid was very rubbery. We ordered coke which arrived in tiny bottles so worked out quite expensive.

The exposed brick walls were a nice touch, with shelving for bottles of wine a bit like a wine cellar. Would I go there again ? Possibly but in fact, no, probably not.

My partner and I went to Evuna for his birthday on a Saturday evening. We ordered tapas and some wine. The food was authentic and not mass produced. There is also a range of non tapas dishes on the menu. There is a good selection for vegetarians. The prices were average for city centre.

Evuna has a laid back, Mediterranean atmosphere but the service is efficient. Also being wine merchants, there is a large selection of wine to choose from. It is located on Deansgate making it close to bars if you wanted to go for a drink somewhere else afterwards. There are also usually plenty of taxis on the road.
We will definitely visit Evuna again soon.

We went on a Thursday evening and we were surprised to see it was quite busy. We were quickly shown to our table and immediately felt the restaurant had a nice feel. The staff were very friendly and service was good and well paced, not too slow and not too fast.
The food was of a good quality and the wine list very good with high quality wines.
Overall the restaurant is probably up there with best in Manchester.
