“Subpar tapas, decent paella.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013

Had high expectations of Evuna when we booked prior to our stay in Manchester. The tapas was very average. Dry bread, and quite boring flavours all over. Upside was the Paella served after the tapas. It was quite good actually.
We had one waiter that looked like he truely hated his job, but the others were quite helpful and welcoming.
We were acutally quite dissapointed with this place considering the high rating.

Would not go again. Must be better tapas elsewhere in Manchester.

“Disappointing as it was rated so highly.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013

When we arrived they didn't seem to have a record of us booking a table, but we managed to get seated.
We ordered fresh bread and olives to start, but the bread was stale and the olives were soaked in water. Bizarre, but decided not to over think it, as I was looking forward to the main meal, the atmosphere was good and the wine was lovely. My partner ordered paella and it was quite dry and not very flavoursome. I ordered duck, it was a large breast, but just too dry and too few vegetables for my liking.

“Great for lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013

I have lunch here quite often with my girlfriend and its always excellent.
The food is always fresh, well made and very tasty. Good choice of tapas and a great selection of wine. Lunch time offer of 3 tapas for £10 is good value and enough for light lunch. Music a bit out there...

“Good food good price nice place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2013

The food is excellent, and a good choice on the menu, we go to the place about twice and month and it's always good. The staff are helpful and if you want something a little different they will try their best to accomodate. Great Spanish wines at good prices

“This is not Tapas. ”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2013 via mobile

How this can be called a Tapas bar is beyond me. Tapas is what you see in Madrid, Barcelona and so on. I have Spanish family and they laugh at what is foisted on the unsuspecting public.

Where is the display of small slices of baguette style bread with serrano ham, anchovies etc,etc priced at 80p each. and proper 'patatas bravas'. You have all seen them when on holiday in Spain so why not here.
