Description: "In the very heart of Manchester near Piccadilly Station and Gardens, Malmaison Brasserie reigns supreme as a superlative place to meet and eat. The highly chic brasserie has sleek, stylish decor and an army of loyal customers. The staff are passionate about food, wine and service and the dining room is lit with that brasserie buzz. Malmaison Executive Chef Roy Brett has overall direction, which local chef Mark Bennett carries out beautifully. What's cooking? Inspiration is taken from great 'French brasserie-style dishes' and further enhanced with a unique contemporary twist. Dishes include char-grilled ribeye with cafe de paris butter and fine beans and salmon fishcake with parsley sauce and buttered spinach. For those of you with a sweet tooth, be sure to try the tarte tartin with creme chantilly. "

“Mal on Sunday Excellent Treat”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

A family outing for brunch on Easter Sunday was a real treat. Friendly service and a wide selection of excellent food all at £19.95, plus a relaxing read of the papers and a cocktail or 2 to top it all off. Thanks to the staff for making this such an enjoyable visit and Easter treat.

Fantastic value and great quality. This is one of the best buffet restaurants that I have frequented in a very long time. Comfortable and enjoyable ambiance with friendly professional staff. Well done to all of you, can't wait to visit again.

“Very enjoyable dining experience”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

My husband and I went to this restaurant last night for a meal and had a really lovely relaxed time amongst happy staff who genuinly appeared to be enjoying their job.It felt cosy and warm and welcoming and we really enjoyed the food which was artistically presented and after having a starter main course and desert we couldn't eat any more and we have good appetites! The house red wine was surprisingly good . Would definitely return as atmosphere and food were excellent. Particularly good value if you have a High Life Diners card!

“Malmaison Dining”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

Superb 3 course meal and service, wines a bit pricey but only as expected in Malmaison. Portions not over large, great for smaller appetite. Tables a bit too close to each other, could easily overhear people on next table.

“warm white wine......again”
Reviewed February 14, 2013

When this restaurant 1st opened I emailed the hotel to say how fab the whole dining experience was. Now its a place I wouldn't be in a hurry to return to. Why?
Its overpriced and twice in the last week I have been served room temperature white wine, not good Malmaison!
There are too many good restaurants in Manchester to return here.
On the plus side, the staff are really friendly, bar nice atmosphere, but feel let down :( .
