We had not been to Tai Pan for some years and were concerned that the level of service and quality of food had dropped below par, having read some of the poorer, recent reviews. I am pleased to say, that we need not have been concerned, as everything was first rate and included an itemised bill. Will be visiting again, soon.

I have eaten at the Tai Pan restaurant in Liverpool on a regular basis and always enjoyed the meals there. Have not visited the Manchester branch for a few years and decided to give it a try.

Went for lunch around 1pm and it was nearly full of diners.

We were seated immediately.

Ordered a a selection of Dim Sum, stir-fried Beef Hor Fan and 3 Roast (Roast Duck, Pork and Char Siu) Rice. Absolutely delicious. The food arrived within 15 minutes of order. Dare I say the food tasted better than the Liverpool Tai Pan!

The best thing of all there was a discount for Dim Sum prices during Lunch time! Cheaper than I expected.

Will be visiting more often.

We have been here on many occasions and think most of the food is wonderful. It is an easily accessible place and has an indoor lift for anyone which is wonderful for wheelchair bound people. The best guide of all is that it is always full of Chinese people. The service isn't always the quickest but that is probably because it is always extremely busy. Our children always point out that its one main downfall is its deserts. Basically the main choice is various ice creams, not even a banana fritter which is a shame but besides that would recommend to anyone.
