Took 4 months to get a table for four on a Saturday night, so we were very much looking forward to the meal. Menu is either a 6 or 10 course option. We opted for the 10 courses.
Excellent wine list with an option of a glass of wine chosen to pair with each course!
The food was superb, delicately flavoured and wonderfully presented. The ingredients were varied and interesting. It was a real culinary treat.
Only negative of the evening was that waiters and waitresses insisted on telling you what each course was. Doesn't sound a problem but when you are all having a good chat and you have to all be quiet 10 times it can interrupt the flow of the conversation.

What an experience though.

Everything about the evening was great. Service was spot on, the timings of each course; perfect, the quality of the good outstanding.

Given the cost of the ten plus courses, the ingredients are never going to be the most expensive. What was clearly shown was the freshness of the ingredients, the inventiveness of the chef, and the skills of his kitchen team.

Outstanding quality and execution from the kitchen team backed up by great service.

We ate there last Thursday night and had a fabulous evening. From the moment we arrived to the time we left we were not disappointed. On arrival they had prepared 3 separate menu's to cater for our individual dietary requirements which was a nice touch. We had the 6 course taster and afterwards wished we had done the 10. We did add in the cheese course and glad we did otherwise I think we would have still been a bit hungry. I ate at L'enclume a few years back and that was one of the best meals I have ever eaten and was worried this might not live up to that, but I needn't have worried as each course was sublime and very much keeping with Simon Rogan's style. Fantastic evening and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Went with my husband and we were very impressed with the service, what lovely people. The food was just wonderful, the flavours - every course so intense and special. We had the 10 dish taster menu (which is really 11 with the 4 nibbles to start). Went with the flight of wine to try new flavours and pairings and we were not disappointed. Added in the cheese course, amazing cart arrives with a plethora of cheeses - you just got to do it!

The room is not lavish but the chandeliers are beautiful - like huge glass baubles that have fallen through the ceiling and the mirrored panels give an airy light feel to the room. Based on our visit it's well worth a star - all the best to Mr R and his team of talent!
