The museum is awesome, I've lived in Manchester 10 years and only just got round to this. It's well worth a visit, loads of interesting stuff and knowledgable friendly approachable staff who are all retired policemen. Loved it!

Worth an hour or so to visit this unique museum giving an insight into the history of the police in Manchester. Just a short walk from the city centre but with limited visiting so check the dates when it is open. Very friendly helpful staff.

If you have 1/2 an hour to spare in Manchester then this museum is certainly worth a look. You can visit the original cells which are dark and cramped and read about some of the harsh sentences imposed on offenders. The staff are very friendly and informative.

A good venue but needs more exhibits maybe a cafe would help. The staff are helpful needs a better location stumbled on it by accident.
