The museum mainly contains buses from around Greater Manchester but also has a mock up of a tram, a historic fire engine (with a bell the kids can ring) and lots of transport memorabilia. We have two boys aged three and 18 months. They LOVED it. Ran around, climbing in and out of the buses and tram mock up. The cafe in the museum was great and reasonable - with a high chair. The staff (I think most if not all were volunteers) were so helpful and keen to ask any questions. A highlight for the kids was an activity area where they could dress up on a small bus and pretend to drive it and colour in various pictures of trams and buses. Given that kids go free and we only paid £4 each it was a bargain. We'll certainly go back now we've found it and I'd recommend it highly.
