Stopped here whilst attending a training course close by. The hotel is clean and tidy, the rooms are spacious and clean. This hotel is well situated and there are plenty of places a short walk away to both eat and drink.
Great budget hotel for a short stay in Manchester.

Great location in Manchester city centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and bed comfy. Only thing is that the Wifi goes slowly than expected. Generally good. DEFINITELY WOULD COME BACK AGAIN AND RECOMMEND TO MY FRIENDS.

excellent all around ,very friendly polite and helpful staff. Location of the hotel was just right if you do not want to spend time and money on taxi bus or car park to get in to the heart of the city... Just get out of the front door of the hotel and start exploring this beautiful city ON FOOT.

Arrived at this hotel with my mother in her 70s and two other family members, it was full of festival goers which was fine, although we did not realise it was on. It took us at least 20 mins to check in, the girl at the desk was so rude, whilst I know it was busy, her job is with the public and the first representative of the hotel so her attitude was disgusting. Everything seemed to be a problem, told her no need for rooms together if too hard but if we could be away from the festival goers, got a grunt as a reply. Had to pay for both rooms separately despite my booking them both, had to give all names of people staying in the rooms (I have stayed in Premier Inns before with none of this, although I note this perhaps is the way this hotel operates). The room itself was lovely, newly decorated, only problem was the handle was missing from the window so could not get any fresh air into room and was very hot and air con bit noisy. We had noisy neighbours also which we rang down about but went on into the night so we didn't get much sleep at all, despite the comfy bed. Doors were banging all through the night and into the next day as several parties were in rooms around our room so kept calling to each other.

The girl in the bar is lovely and an asset to the hotel, the breakfast staff very friendly and again the hotel should be thankful for them but again on check out, the same person was at the desk and we were left standing around, gave in the key cards and didn't get a "how was your stay" or even a goodbye.

All in all, the hotel itself is great, fab location, staff all friendly and great but check in staff who is first person you meet on way in and out is a real let down. Also the noise didn't allow us to get a good nights sleep but I'm sure this was just a once off.

Room Tip: Was advised third floor rooms newly decorated and they were done to a very high standard. Room was...

the hotel was having refurbishment when I checked in for 2 nights so there was an all pervasive smell of paint for the entire period. Having said that some of the communal areas in this Premier Inn are in need of refurbishment so presumably the slightly tatty appearance will improve. Its not quite as good as other hotels in the chain at the moment. Its location is good - its easy to get to all parts of the City either on foot or on the great tram system they have in Manchester which has a stop only a few meters from the hotel. Look forward to returning after the makeover

Possibly the best ever customer service with a smile at this hotel in a great location just 150 yards from Oxford Street station. Thankyou to Kim Kerry Sarah Lindsey who didn't just look after us, they made us laugh, got us the brand new rooms on the third floor and were very understanding when we missed checkout after a heavy night!

Room Tip: Third floor although the other rooms are getting done soon
