stayed here whilst on visit to MMU, god location for visit to Manchester, within walking distance of both Oxford Road and Piccadilly railway stations. 10 minute walk to MMU, a little further for Manchester Uni. Excellent facilities, bar and restaurant on site, clean and comfortable.

Stayed here for a night at the Palace Theatre.

Located about 10 min walk from the city centre and 2 minutes from the Palace Theatre. Pizza Express just around the corner (give the chinese buffet next door a miss - awful)

Room very smelly - they have a damp problem here - bathroom had really strong smell of damp, with black mould/mildew on the ceiling and paint splashed on the wall tiles and floor from where they obviously have to re-paint. Air vent in the room also had black mould/mildew on it. Fixtures and fitting shabby and loose - made the room feel dirty. Bed was like a slab of concrete - woke up numerous times during the night with severe back pain.

On a positive - all the staff were very friendly and polite.

Can't believe Premierinn put their name to this place - well below usual high standards.

Room Tip: Stay at the Premierinn Manchester Central (only a 15 min stroll away)

We stayed here on New Years Eve this year, and we had a double room. The hotel itself is ideally located, and is within walking distance of all the citys main central attractions. This does however mean that parking is very expensive.
Check in was quick and friendly, and we were given a room on the third floor. You have to have a room key to get into the lift, which makes you feel more secure. The room itself was the basic that you would expect, very plain but for the price you cannot complain. Both the room and the bathroom were nice and clean. The hotel could invest in a better heating system though, the one small electric heater below the window really wasn't up to the job and our room was quite cold.
The staff in the restaurant were always very helpful and cheerful, and the prices at the bar were reasonable.
This hotel is ideal for a business traveller who needs somewhere to stop overnight.

Really friendly staff, the hotel itself is great if you are wanting somewhere to just put your head down. We were in a disabled room which unfortuantley wasn't the best we have stayed in. The alarm by the bed was actually out of reach?! and the shower was over a bath and my friend had to have help to get in and out. There was a bit of noise when others were coming home but i suppose you would expect that. Breakfast is very over priced so we didn't buy it and there is a weatherspoons on the corner that is much cheaper. The hotel is in a great location if you are wanting to go to the Palace theatre as it is literally down the street and for this reason I will probably stay here again.

Service exceeded my expectations.
Well done Sarah at reception.
She allowed me to check in at 8 in the morning; I only dropped by to see if they would keep my baggage until later in the day!
Bed firm & comfortable.
Great shower - loads of hot water
Good size room for a European hotel
Good Wi-Fi (30 mins free)
