I was leaving my daughter back to uni and we just stayed for 1 night. welcome was good, room was very comfortable, breakfast was very good. Location is very good, 5 mins walk to city centre, 2 mins to bus stop to go down Oxford Road. McDonalds is just across the road and a Tesco Express round the corner! We couldn't ask for more!

Room Tip: We were in room 322 at back of hotel and it was very quiet.

Before I begin with this review, I want to say that I am a Premier Inn fan and do still believe that the company as a whole is the best value for money. The Hotel is in an excellent location within walking distance for all city centre attractions and facilities and Piccadilly. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by a sign advising us to turn into a door to the left which we did. We then arrived in a small foyer area with self check - in portals and two tiny desks, about 20 customers and no staff. The self check in portals weren't working and there was a lot of confusion as to what on Earth to do! Obviously, this was quite possibly a one off but, as there was no actual reception (just two little desks) and no staff in sight, it wasn't the best first impression. A member of staff then came from the luggage room and started serving all the customers. Eventually, she was joined by another member of staff and the queue slowly died down. The self check in portals also began working again! The staff we encountered throughout our stay were excellent - polite, professional and extremely helpful - including House Keeping, Bar and Restaurant. We booked the meal deal on arrival and went to our room. Our room was clean, of an adequate size and was everything we had come to expect from a Premier Inn. The Hotel itself was large and a little confusing as you could go either way and end up where you needed to be! The Restaurant was in an odd place and was poorly signposted so it was difficult to find but, the food was nice and the setting pleasant. The Meal Deal itself is faultless and extremely good value (three courses, a glass of wine/beer etc and breakfast, £22 per person) even though the menu choice isn't great. As children eat free at breakfast, we bought my daughter a normal children's meal. We enjoyed a good nights sleep and subsequently enjoyed our breakfast as always. Check out was quick and as always, the staff were exceptional. We would choose this premier inn again although, I wish they'd sort the reception out!!

This is a fairly new Premier Inn (so all clean and new etc). Brilliant location - I was there for work, very handy for the conference centre, also perfect distance for city centre, Canal Street, shops, basically everywhere in Manchester. It's part of a building which includes bars, but I was on the first floor and heard no noise whatsoever from the bars. Just a perfectly good stay all round, you can't go wrong with this place.

My young son and I recently stayed here whilst attending a football match in Manchester. Hotel is very central within easy walking distance of Piccadilly Rail Station, the Metros and the Arndale shopping centre. Good clean hotel nice and quiet (though we were staying mid-week) breakfast well priced at £7.99 and U16 eat free.

I was staying over after an evening out for New Year. The hotel was quiet even though it was one of the biggest party nights of the year all around. The room was good, and had a decent bed.
