“Convenient for Manchester central conference centre”

Easy to get to from Manchester Piccadili Station (Free bus No 3 stops about 50 m away).
Entrance is minimalist but very efficient. Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Good clean rooms, large bed and facilities within the room. Fixed shower head in the bathroom. Good breakfast, well cooked but would not recommend the coffee.

This hotel is very convenient for Manchester Central conference centre ( 5-10 mins walk) and a better price than the closer (but much posher) hotels.

Excellent in all respects from auto check in to comfortable room and bathroom, to the use of the luggage room so we could collect our luggage later on in the next afternoon. Staff all extremely pleasant and helpful. The only tiny thing I can think of to say is that when I had my cup of tea I fancied a biscuit but they are not supplied! We did not have breakfast or evening meal as we went to the Wetherspoons next door (The Paramount) which was having its autumn beer festival. It is also near St Peter's Square tram stop.

Room Tip: We were in 163 which did not look out onto the road so may have been quieter. There was no traffic...

Stayed here on Saturday 24th Sept with various members of my family. Wasn't expecting anything fantastic but was so pleasantly surprised. The greeting I got was worthy of a five star hotel, especially from Kelly who went out of her way and actually helped me carry my luggage up to my room! She also arranged for us to stay on the same floor. I was very impressed, the room was spacious, the bed was really comfy - couldn't ask for anything else. The staff were really helpful and professional. It was really nice having a restaurant/bar attached too. Will definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, friendly staff, good size rooms. But a little noisy on a Saturday night, pub underneath which had music on until the early hours, rooms are sound proofed but this still managed to get through. Would not stop me from staying again.

Friendly welcome, fast check-in, clean comfortable room, 5 mins walk from Oxford Road station, great service in restaurant. Room on 2nd floor facing Portland Street, slight road noise, as expected in a city. Unfortunately terrible in-room noise from heating/cooling system and also ridiculously loud clanging noises from broken toilet in adjacent room. Caused disruptive sleep on several nights (stuck with it stupidly in the hope it would stop as I didn't fancy the thought of changing rooms in the middle of the night). Informed reception on check-out but didn't seem particularly interested but hopefully the next guest does not have the same problem. Apart from the noise issue everything else was ok.
