“Good location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2013

This hotel is excellent for visiting Manchester. It is central, and it is good. The rooms had good size, and was spotless. We also got rooms on the back and was not bothered by any noise. It seems that the hotel separates party people and families on different floors. The rooms also had AC witch came in handy as it was 30 degrees outside. Breakfast was nice, and so was the dinner we ate in the restaurant as well.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back.

Thank you for taking the time to write your recent review following your stay. We hope you enjoyed your visit to Manchester.

As you say the Hotel is very centrally located for all the tourist attractions and ideal for bars, restaurants and venues.

We are lucky that each of our 157 bedrooms have their own operated air-con units. In addition the majority of the windows are able to be opened, due to the design of the hotel some windows are sealed but only in a handful of rooms. If guests require we can give out fans or additonal sheets instead of the duvet to make their stay more enjoyable.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel in the near future.

Kind regards

Nice room with double and single beds. Breakfast was very nice but coffee was truly awful. Luckily theres a costa next door. Had to ask for extra tea/coffee as they only leave you 2. Were able to leave luggage after checkout until we were finished at the convention across the road which was handy. Good value, good location.

Thank you for your recent review following your stay with us. All of our 157 bedrooms have a double bed and some also have a sofa bed which can be converted into a single bed.

I'm sorry you didn't like the breakfast coffee this is Costa but made in pots rather than individual cups. We do have a Costa Coffee shop in the hotel and this opens daily from 6.30am serving light breakfasts.

The Hotel is centrally located, opposite the Central Convention Centre and handy for all the city centre amenities.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel in the near future.

Kind regards

Here for a couple of nights - room overlooking The Midland Hotel, so very city central. Good value, good accommodation, good staff. What more is there to say! Oh, when the curtain rail fell down in the room on the second night and no, I wasn't swinging on it! But, dealt with efficiently and appropriately by the staff. They do seem to have got their "sleep well" promise right and I did!

We chose to stay here for a one night stay to visit the Manchester International Festival, I had booked 2 rooms for our family group and we were allocated 2 next to each other - Which doesn't always happen!
Our welcome was very good. We had already checked in online which I would now recommend, but this was our first time and so a very helpful chap ran us through the process, which was very easy. He later ran off a copy of the city centre map which was most useful!
We had a good night's stay...it was very hot in the room because of the current heatwave but we coped with the nice cotton sheets. There was some external noise from the trams but we were right in the city centre. It was a spot on location for the Manchester Festival which runs until the 21st of July.
We all ahd a really good time and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone - it's made me think of going more to Manchester. I should add that we went by train to Manchester Victoria and got on a tram to St. Paul's square which was practically on the hotel's doorstep.
The rooms are the usual high quality provided by Premier Inn and the on site Costa was excellent for breakfast the next morning.

Thank you for taking the time to write your recent review. We hope you enjoyed the Manchester International Festival. I'm so glad we managed to accommodate your rooms next to each other, we do try and pre-allocate rooms prior to arrival but unfortunately due to the high occupancy this isn't always possible.

The Hotel has air-con in each of its bedrooms which is operated by the guest. If you prefer we also have windows which can be opened or alternatively we can offer a fan.

As you say we have a Costa Coffee shop in the hotel which opens at 6.30am. In addition we also have a Table Table restuarant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Hotel is ideally situated in the City Centre and the tram stop, St Peters Square is only a few minutes walk away.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Hotel in the near future.

Kind regards

Stayed for a gig with a friend. Easy check in - friendly staff. Room nice, spacious, clean and with everything we needed. Disappointed to pay £18.40 to park over the road - almost as much as the room had cost me but expect I could have found somewhere cheaper to park further away. Can't rate staff highly enough - fantastuc customer service.

Thank you for taking the time to write your recent review. I glad you enjoyed your stay. The team work hard to offer the best possible experience. Due to the location we are a very busy Hotel and unfortuneatley don't have our own car park. We do enjoy discounted rates with the NCP Central which is oppostite the Hotel. Guests simply need to hand in their car park ticket and we will stamp it so they will automatically get a discount at time of paying. There is also a Q park round the corner in Oxford Road.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the Hotel in the near future.

Stayed here whilst attending the Robbie Williams concert (which was fantastic!) Brilliant hotel, great room on 5th floor, very clean and tidy. Toilet handle broke whithin minutes of checking in, rang reception and had not long put the phone down and a man was there to fix it for us.
We had booked a table for lunch on arrival and for breakfast the following day, on both occasions we were not disapointed with either the choice or the quality of the food. Ideal location for shopping too!!

We stayed here when attending the Olympics. After a bit of time finding good parking we were given a room on the 4th floor. It was clean, bright and welcoming. There were tea and coffee facilities, iron, hair dryer etc. we had booked the evening meal and it was no problem to upgrade my son to the adult menu. The food was fantastic as was the view, overlooking the busy city centre. I would highly recommend the restaurant, we loved it.
After a good nights sleep we went for breakfast, which was quite busy as we were all going to Old Trafford, but this wasn't a problem. Plenty to eat and drink for everyone. If we stay in Manchester again we would stay a bit further out of the centre, but overall we had a great time and attending the Olympics was amazing.

Thank you for your review following your stay last year during the olympics. Myself and my team are always to hear feedback so we can use it to ensure that everyone has the best possible stay. As you say the hotel has an internal Table Table restaurant which serves meals all day. We are also lucky enough to have an internal Costa Coffee shop which opens at 6.30am.

I hope you do return to manchester soon and come and stay with us.
