The Premier Inn Manchester Central is generally a good hotel. Although the rate we paid (£150) was EXTORTIONATE this was because Robbie Williams was in town and all the other hotels put their prices up in the same manner.
Check-in was fast and easy with the staff showing us how to use the automatic touch-screen system. They were also happy to store our luggage before we checked in.
The room itself was fine, bed very comfy and a selection of pillows ensure a good nights sleep. There was also a bottle opener attached to the cupboard so they clearly know their market! It’s the little things that matter!
The bathroom needs replacing though. It was very dated, beyond a deep-clean and the light was offensive and flickering. The shower was rubbish too.
Breakfast the next morning was great – loads of choice in terms of hot and cold food and lots of branded stuff too, including Costa Coffee.
Overall, I would stay here again as the location is good (right next to a tram stop) and even at this ridiculous rate, it was still the cheapest hotel in Manchester.More
