Room was basic but clean and comfortable. The area was not great as no restaurants other than the one attatched to hotel, which was very cozy and well decorated and much better than any other Premier Inn restaurant I have been to, but unfortunately the food was diabolical! 5 of our party agreed the food was inedible.
The upside to this hotel was that the staff, especially a chap called Neil could not have been more helpful or accomodating.
We arrived very early in the morning, and despite check in being unavailable at that time, the guys made every effort to find us an empty room to get changed in and apologised profusely that the room had not been cleaned.
We asked a million questions and each one was answered knowledgeably and enthusiastically. Nothing was too much trouble.
It is a long time since I have experienced customer service of this level, and this is what sets this hotel apart from others.
There are a few great restaurants in nearby Didsbury and i would reccommend taking a taxi there to eat rather than on site.More
