The staff were very good and could,nt do enough for us extra pillow and coffee !! very quite no noise at all from the pub next door we were in room 202 this room is below ground level and was very clean and tidy and light ,bathroom was fine if the bath was a bit small !! but the room was very cold the heater said 23 but we were still cold but all in all value for money would stay there again but ask for a different room.

Room Tip: cold in room 202

DO USE this hotel if you want a good night's sleep. We have used it before and never heard any noise from traffic or the pub next door. The staff are helpful too. We will definately be back to this hotel when we want to stay overnight in this area.

Me and my other half stayed in this premier inn after attending a concert at the MEN, the rooms were lovely and clean and the staff were very friendly!!

We ate at the ajoining pub and had a very pleasant meal was a little more expensive than your usual pub meal but the good was lovely!

Overall was a pleasant stay just unfortunately didn't manage to get much sleep due to guests opposite arriving home from a night out at around 3am obviously quite drunk and slamming doors and shouting across to each other! I understand this isn't the hotels fault just made for a grumpy mood due to the lack of sleep also I found the floor boards to be squeaky and resulting in hearing every footstep from the rooms above!

This aside I would stay in this premier inn again as hopfully the drunks were a one off and as said before this definatly wasn't the hotels fault!! All in all yet again great staff and rooms at premier inn!!

Stayed for a business meeting nearby. Not the best Premier inn i have stayed in but staff were excellent as always. So pleasant, helpful and very obliging. They are a credit to Premier Inn.
I was in a room that the heating had been turned off so it was freezing and it had been snowing.

I just had a bath to warm up but they are not very big baths. Hotel is a bit tired and could do with a refurb in the bathrooms as they are only half size baths but apart from that all of the comforts of a Premier Inn
The bar for meals outside was brilliant. Food was excellent and Daniel the Bar man was outstanding, his customer service was the best i have witnessed for a long time. Well done Daniel wish you worked for me.

Great location for us to stay, the staff are all very friendly and go out of their way to help. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. We ate at the pub both nights and the food was nice. I have stayed her before and would do so again.

Premier Inn seem to have lost their way, other than in the hotels Lenny Henry stays at. This one was cold and virtually impossible to get to a comfortable room temperature . Although clean, the room was tired and the wash basin cracked. As for the Henry Boddington pub attached - don't bother. Even with Premier Inn I've never been in such a miserable place - cold and poorly lit (at both breakfast and dinner). The food at dinner was pretty awful, the breakfast lacked freshness and the service desultory. I'll find somewhere else next time I'm in the area.

we stayed at this premier in on the 29th dec, myself my wife and our 2 children, ages 5 and 2, and i chose this because i got a family room for £19, and also booked the breakfast in the pub attached to the hotel.
i have to say that when we checked in the lady on reception was very helpful and actually went out of her way to make our stay as comfortbale as possible, our 2 year old likes milk before going off to sleep and we didnt have any with us, so she said she would arrange to have some ready for us for when we got back at the night time, and when we got back at about 10.30 it was there waiting on reception a pint of milk from the pub next door, at no extra cost, how nice was that.
and because it was christmas, they gave both the kids some crayons and things to colour in ( not sure if this was a christmas thing or they do this all the time) anyway, she said that if they drew a nice picture and brought it back in the morning they would win a prize, and sure enough when we checked out in the morning they had 2 big sacks of present ready for the kids to choose a present from, my son got some trucks and my daughter got a toy mobile phone, i just thought i was a nice touch by the hotel, and the kids loved it.
i suppose i should tell you about the room and the location, well pretty standard for a premier inn, clean, tidy, quite modern, good facilities tv shower hairdryer, and the bed was comfortable and we all had a good nights sleep, apart from being woke up at 3 in the morning by by daughter complaining of pains in her knees (growing pains, bless her!!)
the location was excellent for what we needed it for and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
we did also have the breakfast which was £13 for myself and my wife and the kids ate free, plenty to choose from lots of cereal, toast, pastries, and we were served quickly, and the food was very nice.
so overall i would say that the premier inn at swinton was excellent and it will be the first place i look at when i need to book another hotel

Room Tip: book early to get them at £19
