Very clean and spacious room. Decent food in beefeater next door. All staff encountered in hotel and beefeater extremely friendly and helpful. 10 mins walk from metrolink. 11 mins tram journey in to manchester victoria. Ideal for men, printworks, arndale, christmas market and all of central manchester. Will definitely be visiting again.

I stayed at this premier Inn for four nights this week, it was my first time at a Premier Inn and I thought it was very good, the room was basic but certainly very clean the bed was comfortable and the room was quite spacious.
Meals were arranged in the 'Beefeater' the food there is good vale for your money and very well cooked. Breakfasts were very good with plenty of choice and rather than being in a hot trolley food is cooked and brought to your table and you can have as much as you wish.
The staff are very pleasant and friendly.

We've stayed here four times now and, unless anything changes, we'll aim to stay here every time we visit Manchester. Sure, the rooms are all identical. There's no character. Every room looks the same and even has the same pair of red flower paintings. You have to look at the number outside your door to appreciate you're in a different room then your previous visit.

But you know what? The rooms are immaculate, extremely well-maintained, warm and roomy. Wouldn't personally pick it for our main holiday, when you want something a little different. But for any other reason, this particular Premier Inn does fit the bill.

I said there was no character, but it's right there actually. In the form of the staff on the front desk. Down to earth, but polite as can be and cheery with it. Plus, extremely helpful. And this last visit, they were excellent with our little boy. He told Lisa he was The Hulk and when we next passed reception, there was a hulk picture printed out for him to colour in, along with coloured pencils. Becci was utterly brilliant too.

The one stupid, stupid thing about this particular Premier Inn? You see that overhang on the photo above? The roof seems designed to overhang the pavement from the car-park to the entrance in such a way that if it's rained anytime in the last month, water will drip on your head as you walk in. Take a look. If you see nine or ten evenly spaced puddles along the pavement, get ready to dodge. Probably an architectural incompetency they can do nothing about now.

But yes, an immaculately comfortable and roomy place to stay. Handily just off the motorway, especially if you know the area, which I do as I grew up round there. Those £29 offers are spread out amongst dearer nights so you're not going to get a run of nights at that price. But it usually averages around £40 a night over four nights for us (without breakfast), which is an utter bargain for this standard. Before we found this place, we used to spend about £75 a night to stay in a pretty dumpy place a couple of miles away. Plus, there's a great huge Sainsbury's just one minute's drive away for all you need.

So yes, well recommended by us. Just don't accept room 18 as we found out it's the one above the main entrance and in summer, smoke from the horrid smokers drifts up through your open window from where they congregate around the doorway.

As said, brilliant staff at this site.

The reception staff very helpful. I was travelling with my elderly mother and we were given rooms next door to each other. As it happens they were for Disabled Guests. Thankfully neither of us are disabled but from what I could see the rooms were very well kitted out. Low level sink, bed, good bath, wide door and near the reception. Fabulous TV. Well situated to the Beefeater where we dined and had our breakfast all very good. Only complaint my room was next to the stairs so I did hear noise when people came in. I could have complained because the good night sleep is guaranteed but I did not feel this warranted as we were originally booked on the 1st floor. My mother's room was adjacent to the main room so the road after 3.00 am was a slight problem. So if you are not in need of a disabled room request for a room adjacent to the rear car park. There was plenty of car parking but this was 15th November. I would guess that when the restaurant is busy especially at Xmas parking overnight could be a problem. But the room was very clean.

Room Tip: ASk for a room 1st floor adjacent to the car park to avoid the VERY busy road

We stayed here this weekend for one night. As soon as we got to the hotel the staff couldn't do enough for us! Carl was so helpful and friendly on reception! The hotel room was spotless, very comfortable and we slept well. We had breakfast in the beefeater next door and the boy (who had a pink shirt on not sure of his name) was again helpful and friendly. We were grateful for the brilliant service and would stay again!

We stayed here on 15th November when we came up to Manchester to see The Stereophonics. ..we visit Manchester at least every 3 months and we have stayed in this Premier Inn at least 9 times ..they are so nice tge rooms are always spotlessly clean...but what prompted me to write this review was the greeting we received from the Receptionist called Carl he greeted us with welcome back and so nice to see you again and actually remembered our names ...that is great service
