“Overall a great stay”
Reviewed October 31, 2012 via mobile

We stayed here on Monday night this week. Greeted with warm smile and loads of info by Emma on reception. We were early, so parked up and got the free city bus up to the top of deansgate from right outside the hotel which was very handy. Checked in later by Seetal, again really smiley and friendly. Room ok, bathroom needs a refurb, awful dark blue grout on tiles that never look clean! We had top floor room on car park side and it was fine, not much in way of noise. Brilliant beds - really comfy. Fire alarm went off at 7 am, so not the lie in we anticipated, then breakfast was a bit messy and very busy! Hot food took ages to come out, croissants came out 6 at a time so were gone quickly, milks not topped up, no little milk jugs, cups ran out, poor staff couldn't keep up. We usually look forward to our premier breakfast, so bit disappointed. We are booked there again in December, one messy breakfast won't put us off, cos the lovely girls on reception made up for it!

Another great Premier Inn, excellent location not far from the city centre and with good connections to other attractions. We were also able to check in 30 mins early which was very nice of the staff to let us do so. Some of the reviews i have read have complained about the noise from the road: well our room (404) had double glazed windows so we heard no traffic at all. Also room 404 was huge, the biggest PI room we have stayed in by far. So all in all a great little hotel in a great location.

Room Tip: Free bus to city centre across the road

We stayed for a girls meet up and booked 5 rooms. Staff were really helpful and friendly and ensured that despite separate bookings we all got rooms close together. Room was usual Premier Inn standard - clean, comfortable and none of our group had any complaints. The hotel was full the weekend we stayed but bar service was quick. Breakfast was reasonable value and we only struggled one morning to get a table big enough for all us. The coffee could be better. The free bus goes from across the road which was very handy. Nice selection of bars and restaurants 5 minutes up the road under the railway arches. Corridors didn't seem too noisy at night. Good stay really - I would use it again if in Manchester.

Myself & 3 friends booked in for a night out in the city. Fantastic premier inn , the best I have stayed in ( and i would say ive probably stayed in most of them via work) best staff by far , so friendly & v v helpful. The only negative was when I tried to leave this morning (approx 8am) somebody had blocked my car in . The staff were super helpful & spent nearly an hour trying to locate the owner, when this failed they then helped me gradually guide my car out of the ridiculous tight spot. Parking a huge negative as hotel too big for facilities available here. Would def return only due to the great staff & Dee the duty manager. Come on premier inn up your game & sort your parking , with at least a barrier to control only residents park Here !!!!!!!!!
