“Al Baci - a really nice place for dinner!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2014

We were in Manchester for my birthday and fancied eating Italian. We went to the tourist info and they told us of a number of restaurants in the area. We decided on Al Baci and were very impressed.

The staff gave a warm friendly welcome and the service was excellent. The restaurant is decorated to a high standard and the menu has a good choice.

To start, my girlfriend had olives and bread and I had ribs, both of which were delicious.

For mains she had chicken risotto and I had penne and garlic bread. The food is cooked fresh to order and was piping hot.

It was a really nice place for dinner and reasonably priced, we would go back and would certainly recommend it.

This restaurant was chosen on impulse as we were shopping in the area. 3 course lunch provided ample choice, food and wine all excellent. Waiters very friendly and provided very good service. Would definitely recommend.

“Lunch at Al Bacio”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2014

I went yesterday with a friend for lunch and was impressed with everything. We both chose from the lunch menu, two courses for £9.90 and a bottle of the house white wine £15.90. The food and service were excellent. However, it was sad to see that there weren't many other diners, this being the main reason why I'm writing this review. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed and it would be such a pity if this restaurant closes due to lack of business. City centre Manchester cannot afford to lose an authentic Italian Restaurant of this calibre.

“Could have actually been in Italy !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2014

My friend chose Al Bacio for lunch having read the many positive reviews and we were not disappointed. There was a lovely laid-back atmosphere with pleasant background music; we received a very friendly welcome from the staff whose service was prompt and attentive. The decor is stylish and the table dressing smart and professional. Someone checked frequently to see if all was well and we were satisfied with the meal. We ordered from the lunch menu - 2 courses for us-which was served without delay. The presentation and quality of the food was absolutely first class. I didn't want it to end! The wine was excellent also. We didn't have desserts but there was a wide choice on the menu.
A real Italian experience!
