Stayed here for one night in May to celebrate finishing university and for a night out in Manchester. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who said that we had been upgraded to a bigger room which had two double beds and was of excellent standard. Whilst getting ready we ordered room service of a chicken burger and the portion size was huge and delicious and not over priced! The service was impeccable and was delivered quickly. Upon leaving we were also given a discount on the Q-park parking where i had parked my car which made a huge difference to the price we paid!

My wife and I enjoyed a stay at Hotel Arora, Manchester in July 2013. We were in town for a family graduation at Manchester University and wanted a centrally located hotel as we had never visited the city before. The hotel is located close to the City Hall, Chinatown and the major shopping streets in Manchester. It is housed in an older building which has obviously had a recent and well-conceived renovation. The lobby area was modern and spacious and we felt the front desk and bell hop were very helpful.
The room was spacious and well-appointed with comfortable beds, good air conditioning and ample storage space for luggage. We opted for a cheaper room with less of a view although there was plenty of natural light in the room. The bathroom was large and clean and with a shower that had good pressure and hot water whenever we needed it.
We visited the hotel bar in the basement of the hotel on a couple of occasions but never ate there. The bar was excellent with a fantastic choice of beer and great specialty cocktails. The barmen were great, professional and chatty with some great skills that produced some very tasty cocktails.
We loved this hotel for its modern facilities at a great value, its bar and of course the great location. We would absolutely recommend this hotel as great place to base yourself for a short stay in Manchester.

Stayed here 29th September 2013 for one night, we had booked to see the Barry Gibb concert at the M.E.N arena, we booked two rooms as our son stayed in one of the rooms when we arrived we where told we had been upgraded to executive rooms both rooms where fantastic very clean, the location is very good for shopping, had to be up early to get our son back to college so needed early breakfast no problem everything was well laid out nice seating areas just a great all round experience, would I stay again YES every time we go to Manchester.

Room Tip: The two rooms we had where Fantastic I would imagine they are all as good.

Our stay at the Arora hotel was immaculate. The reception staff were very welcoming, especially rheannon. She greeted us very nicely. Our room was absolutely gorgeous, the housekeepers were aware we were staying for our anniversary so there were many sweet touches. The room was very clean and felt homely. I especially loved the black marble bathroom! The bar staff were brilliant. So friendly and down to earth and made us feel comfortable during the evening. Breakfast was also brilliant. The staff were so lovely, especially Amanda and Natalie. The buffet was nice yet affordable. The only fault of the night was the aircon, I didn't seen to realise the difference between hot and cold but the comfy duvet was all we needed anyway! We had a fab night and afternoon! Just to add, I've stayed at the lowry hotel in the past but I must say, your rooms and staff are much more stylish and welcoming! We will both be looking forward to stay again, thankyou!

We found the staff on reception to be extremely helpful and polite, we rang ahead of arriving to ask about parking they give you a voucher so its only £16 for 24 hours which is good as its very central. We had booked a Double Double Room as it looked good on the website photo and it was a very large and clean room. I hadn't realised that the hotel is or was part owned by Sir Cliff Richards but they don't advertise that fact,,,which is good . The bar area was very quiet when we went in but that was perhaps because it was only 3pm in the afternoon. I couldn't see the point of the mini bar as it was empty and the usual short supply of tea and coffee which I tend to find in most hotels nowadays but I couldn't really fault this hotel for price and location and helpful staff especially the young chinese lady. Well done.
