I came for a meal here on that really hot bank holiday monday we had at the beginning of may. There was no menu on the front of the restaurant so I went inside to ask for one, at this point NO ONE mentioned that this was a tapas only restaurant, there were no signs to say this either.
So we got seated and ordered drinks. The waiter was a lovely man and very attentive. When we came to order our food I asked what came with a certain dish. I was told nothing...... so errrrr £9 for a steak and it comes with NOTHING?! The risotto was lovely, but £3.50 for a tiny tiny tiny bowl of chips?! We felt very ripped off and rather hungry at the end of our "meal", so £40 later and only one drink we left. We did tell the waiter that we thought we had been ripped off and there was a gap for a decent restaurant in Didsbury Village, and unfortunately this did not come close to filling it.

Our concerns were not passed on to the manager and we left unhappy. Our waiter shurgged and mustve heard this complaint before.
Save your money and go to the Namaste Nepal in West didsbury, where you can get better food, better service and several drinks with a 2 course meal for the SAME PRICE!

We visited at lunchtime on a hot sunny day which meant we could sit on their sun trap of a south facing balcony.

It was quiet, we had an attentive waiter, the food was great and we enjoyed a bottle of house white.

All in all, a big difference to the weekend evening experience.

We went here to celebrate a new job, not long after its opening.

We were pleasantly surprised by the variety and originality of the 'Italian tapas' on offer - and because it was a celebration, gorged ourselves a wide range of steak, pasta, pizza and chicken dishes. Each one was delicious - a big, big improvement on the stews and spuds served up by the previous incumbents La Tasca

The staff were very attentive, if a little 'fresh from training' in their interactions. We chuckled at being served by various waiters with continental accents, who seemingly knew the menu inside out, but on trying to strike up a conversation with a waitress at the end as we paid the bill - was told in a broad Mancunian accent, "I ain't really tasted the food, not had time..."

We'll definitely be back to Cibo although it is likely to be a special occasion, evening venue due to it being quite expensive.... Although, having just shown this review my significant other, I'm reliably told the lunch menu is well worth a look!
