My long awaited trip to this restaurant was a warm Saturday evening in July. We were a party of 8, and although pre booked weeks before were given the table by the door, and it being a warm night there were lots of people sitting /eating / drinking outside so the hall area in which we were sat was very busy, but not too much of a problem. The menu was not as adventurous as it may have been, and did not read particulary exciting but having dined at Dimitritis on Deansgate several times thought all would be OK. Sadly not. Very small portions, and not garnish or anything on the plate to make it look more inviting. Service was pityfully slow, some of the party had to wait about 5 mins later than others and yet their side order had already arrived. And then we had entertainment ! WHY at that time of night, ie before 10am? The band were good but too loud and we could not hear ourselves speak. In fact we tended to rush the meal and went next door to the pub. do not plan to return.
