My long awaited trip to this restaurant was a warm Saturday evening in July. We were a party of 8, and although pre booked weeks before were given the table by the door, and it being a warm night there were lots of people sitting /eating / drinking outside so the hall area in which we were sat was very busy, but not too much of a problem. The menu was not as adventurous as it may have been, and did not read particulary exciting but having dined at Dimitritis on Deansgate several times thought all would be OK. Sadly not. Very small portions, and not garnish or anything on the plate to make it look more inviting. Service was pityfully slow, some of the party had to wait about 5 mins later than others and yet their side order had already arrived. And then we had entertainment ! WHY at that time of night, ie before 10am? The band were good but too loud and we could not hear ourselves speak. In fact we tended to rush the meal and went next door to the pub. do not plan to return.

4 adults and 2 children. Very friendly staff, relaxed casual atmosphere, wide variety of food (as a few vegetarians in the group). Lovely size portions and food tasted fantastic. Definitely dine there again. Child friendly too!

Went there the other day.
We had the following:

Char-grilled with tomato, garlic and coriander salsa.
FRIES & BBQ sauce and chicken kebabs
Baklava
Kateifi
Botlte of white wine
2 coffees

£53 in total.

Food was tasty but was small portion.
Staffs were very kind but the service was very slow.
Ordered a chilli, arrived after we almost finished eating.
Staff apologised and said that they were bit stretched today.

Would i go again, may be when i am not rush and order extra so not go hungry home.

We were 9 to come for lunch around 12.30pm. We actually had to wait for a whole hour to bes erved and there was noone else in the restaurant. The waiter was nice and the decor was pleasant but even so. We ended up not having any deserts because of lack of time.

Having driven past Dimitris in Didsbury on a number of occasions but never ventured in we took the opportunity during a cycle ride to stop there for lunch and were very pleased we did. The meze, tapas and main dishes were all tempting but we plumped for a chicken souvlaki and a falafal which came with salad or chips, both were very tasty and were perfect for lunch sat outside on a nice sunny day. Good selection of beers too including erdinger on draught. Good service and good value. Will Definately be visiting again.
