My wife booked a table for 9.00pm which we arrived at 8.30pm.on arrival we asked if we were too early?no came the reply.just take a seat and relax.Well we relaxed and relaxed and relaxed.approx twenty minutes later we asked for a drink....yes asked for a drink( I assumed it was self service)At 9.30pm our order was eventually taken after asking again!
Some twenty minutes later we were shown to our table,to wait another twenty minutes for the starter!
No one seemed in charge, there were two guys walking around in suits to what they did was a mystery?
Poor service blamed on a hen party that was already there that made everyone else's late.if that was the case they shouldn't book that many people in on a Saturday night.
Food was quite good but let down by poor service and communication.
Would we go again.....no.
Do I give a stuff about coronation Street.....no
Could the staff learn about customer service?...yes

I shall carry on watching Eastenders after this visit to Fizz's place left us somewhat flat.

Recently visited after several recommendations. Before we went the staff were so accommodating as we required a specific menu for dietary needs. On arrival we were greeted and shown to our table. The menu is fab with lots of choices. Our meal was fantastic and the staff made our birthday meal enjoyable. The atmosphere is lovely and the service is the best we have had from any other restaurant. Thanks guys and hope you tasted the delicious Halal burger your chef made us. We will be back soon :)

What a lovely atmosphere with scrumptious food. Myself and five friends treated ourselves for Friday night dinner and it was delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection and the sticky toffee pudding was to die for! Highly recommended

We decided on Annies for a meal out after reviewing trip adviser. We know Manchester well and were looking for a bit of inspiration and something new.
If I hadnt been having my hair cut earlier in the day I would never habe known that Annies was owned by Fizz from Coronation Street, Im afraid I dont watch it.
The moment we walked in the door of Annies the service was frst class. We were greeted by a loveley Irish girl who escorted us downstairs to the dining room and bar. We were met by the restuarant manager Benn who greeted us like personal firends and went on to treat us as such for the whole night (& not just us everyone else in the restaurant too!). We were asked if we wanted a drink in the bar or at the table and offered the menu to choose.
The menu is good with some interesting choices, we chose the black pudding spring rolls and the lancashire cheese salad as starters, both op which were lovley. The mains of chicken and lamb shank were excellent and the vegetables very tasty. OUr waiter Miguel from South Madrid was excellent and made evert effort to make sure we were happy with our meal.
The very best thing about this restaurant was the service which is clearly led from the owner who along with her boyfriend went out of her way to say hello to every diner.A bit embarassing for us as we actually didnt know her, she took this completely in her stride, was very lovely.
