Really enjoyed our visit, the place is fantastically furnished and very welcoming, the decor really works. The food was great value (apart from broccoli 5 small florets for £3.50) and the chicken and black pudding pie was delicious! Burger was ordinary, would prefer hearty chunk only bread with soup rather than tiptoeing between fine dining and rustic British!

Wonderful place, location and will be back!

Since we first visited on what happened to be their first day of trading, we have returned on four or five occasions. I have been reading the reviews on here, albeit only the latest eight pages (of 22), & cannot believe the negative reviews from some diners. The common theme here seems to be that none of them raised their complaints at the time, when, surely, they will have been dealt with to their satisfaction.

I can only state that, on each of our visits we have experienced exceptional service from all of the staff, from the person acting as the 'greeter', to Chris as part owner, the lovely Jenny, & her dad Tom, all of whom were interested in our 'feedback'. The waiting & bar staff are a credit to the recruitment skills of the management, all are extremely friendly & personable characters who obviously enjoy their work. Despite our relatively few visits, the staff remember us, greeting us almost as old friends, & they know exactly how I like my post-meal latte!

As we come from Accrington, perhaps, as one reviewer stated, we are not used to 'Premiership' restaurants, but I can assure you all that on our many visits to Manchester over the years, whether it be for shopping or a show, (probably one or the other amounts to twice monthly), we have tried most of the popular venues in & around the city centre, & have never found one to better the food & service provided by all at Annie's.

Annie's is now, & will be for the foreseeable future, our restaurant of choice whenever we are in Manchester.

All our best wishes for your continued success,

Yvonne & Gerard Ford
