We first ate here on a Woucher deal four of us. It was great the staff couldn't do enough for us and we got lots of samples on top of the offer.
The food was really good and you need to be adventurous to try it but anything you were not sure of the chef was only too pleased to explain.
I have since been back with my friend and we took our own beer which was no problem and no corkage charge.

I ate at sultans last night and was really pleased by the quality of the dishes we tried and the service. We were informed that we could bring our own alcoholic drinks at no charge which is really good.

For starters we had Falafel, Houmous with pitta, some really nice minced lamb served on pastry this was all served with a mixture of sauces and a good sized plate of olives and Syrian pickles.

It was all very good, tasty and well cooked. The falafal was especially good.

For main course we each ordered a kebab, mine being the mixed kebab selection with included chunks of really beautiful Lamb, Sheesh and very good chicken. This we had with a rice dish with was tasty and a salad that was very good and fresh.

the restaurant was empty when we arrived however it soon started to fill up and despite this the service was really pretty good. They helped explain about the each dish we asked about on the menu and the staff were very warm and friendly.

We finished our eve with a selection of Arabic sweets and a coffee which was divine, we also managed to squeeze in a mint tea.

The total was £50 for the two of us, my only niggle was that i thought some of the portions were a little on the small side for me however the food and service were very very good.

Good fresh food at reasonable prices. The manager and staff were very helpful and were happy to make suggestions.
I used to go years ago to the nearby Alladin and I believe the main man behind Sultan used to be there.
Definately worth a visit. I went on a Groupon voucher just to try it out. I expect to be going again voucher or not. As well as meat and fish dishes there were plenty of veggie starters, and a couple of main courses.
They were happy for us to take in our own alchoholic drinks and don't charge 'corkage'.

We had never thought of trying this before. A Groupon offer took us there. The food is reasonably priced and really tasty. It was authentic and fresh. The staff were friendly and told us about dishes when we asked. I tried the sweet cheese dessert- fragrant and delicious- it makes cheesecake taste really boring. I will have this again. It looks like a cafe from the outside but don't let this put you off as the food is very good.
