The two of us decided to visit this new establishment on Friday afternoon 2pm as it was very central, large and we would be sure to get a table. In our 50's we are probably not TGI target customers but my female friend and myself felt it odd to be welcomed 'Hello Guys'. Not having been to a TGI for at least ten years, the decor seems to be stuck in the 80's, depressing heavy red and black with a cluttered feel. The food we selected was disappointing, bland, production line stuff. The staff were friendly and cheerful but robotic, 'Hello Guys, my name is'...etc.
We eat in lots of different restaurants in Manchester and surrounding areas and not hard to please but will definitely give this place a miss.
Having been to USA cities several times and loved the food and presentation, TGI Fridays are a million miles away!!.
