8 of us visited on a Friday lunchtime from work.
We booked ahead and went to the effort of placing our food order so that we could be back at the office for a reasonable time.
Upon arrival we were seated at two booths of 4, which meant we were effectively there as two groups, with one group unable to speak to the other.
Despite our pre-planning, after a lot of fussing our food arrived. We regularly pre-order our food at Revolution on Parsonage Gardens and they are much more efficient in their service in this respect.
I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich. It felt like a heart attack on a plate. I know you don't come here to lose weight but the fries were EXTREMELY salty, to the point of it spoiling my lunch; by no means am I a fussy eater. The steak was average and there was barely any cheese on the sandwich. At £9.50 this is definitely not value for money.
We were visiting for a birthday so we received complimentary desserts. In contrast to my main, the Cookie Dough Cheesecake was delicious.
We all felt full after our two courses, but just a warning that no-one was full up from their main course alone; the desserts saw that we were.
After the initial dithering we ended up with a waitress who was very friendly and offered a better service than when we first arrived.
The venue is great, as is the atmosphere. I would come back here but only ahead of a night on the town with the girls, as I imagine it can get quite lively in here on an evening and set you up for the night.
If you're into good food, stay clear, but if you're after a hangover meal... perfect.
