First visit after Cinama at Corner House. Had Sunday Roast Beef, very yummy, son had pork, crackling to die for. Free pudding for us mums. Staff very good, all in all a good Resturant / Bar.But would be even better if they had Britsh draught beer.

The breakfasts, lunches and dinners are great. They have my 2 favourite spirits, Lagavulin and Patron and my favorite beer, Brooklyn lager. The staff are world class. The club behind was awesome when I went for the Zoo Project. My lifestyle locally has been boosted by Gorilla's presence.

At 11 pm after a great show at the theatre we moved to a one of Manchester's more lively watering holes. We were welcomed with smiles and all round good banter. my daughter (19) fell in love with a gentleman that was collecting glasses and for the rest of our stay we returned every single night for either a fantastic three course meal or just a scotch before bed. But sadly the glass collection boy never returned and our Millie left disapointed. ALL ROUND 10/10.

We fancied a change from a hotel breakfast, and were not disappointed. Arrived about 11am, so caught in the decision between breakfast, brunch and going straight for an early lunch.

Fortunately the decision was made for us since although they serve breakfast until 4pm, the rest of the menu is only from 12 noon, so breakfast/brunch it was. Great full English breakfast - fresh ingredients, not greasy, also not too big (if you want big, go for the Royal). As an exiled Mancunian, black pudding is the only missing ingredient, therefore a mandatory addition. Excellent tea and coffee too.

Service was friendly, quick and efficient - we were checked on regularly enough and left in peace the rest of the time. Good music, Sunday papers on the bar, lively place - we'll be back.

I noticed a previous reviewer didn't rate the service - and to be fair it was getting really busy when we left (there was a queue out of the door) - so the only advice I can give is to get there early!
