We loved this hotel. The room was great, lovely and quiet as requested. Lovely big bed and great wet room bathroom.

Loved all the quirky bits of art dotted around, especially the llamas and the big chicken in reception. Breakfast was lovely. Good quality food and lovely service.

We ate in Steak and Lobster, a great concept. We tried both and both were very tasty. Mmm unlimited fries and salad. Nearly didn't manage pud!

We've stayed here twice now and on each occasion the room we have stayed in and the facilities have been excellent. If you don't fancy going out then the In-room dining is excellent. If you want the extra space and can afford it upgrade to an Alfresco Suite.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Excellent accomodations and good location - close to train stations, shopping and restaurants. Will stay here again. Complimentary wifi is good and important. We actually decided NOT to stay at the Hilton Deansgate because they did not have complimentary wifi and were more expensive per night. I can't imagine it being much better than this Radisson Blu.

One minor complaint: The gym should open earlier than 8am on a Sunday morning. Travellers don't keep the same times as locals and coming from Singapore, we're awake by 4am!

We stayed here for 3 nights over the May Bank Holiday weekend. The hotel is very central to all the shops, bars restaurants and night clubs. So good in fact that this is the first time I have been on a city break where I could go out at night in my heels and not need to take a taxi! The rooms are very modern and the bathroom and shower are spacious. The bathroom is designed as a wet room which I wasn't too keen on as you're standing on a wet floor for a few hours after the showers. However the hair drying facilities, sink, mirror etc are in a separate area outside the bathroom which helped. We only had breakfast in the hotel and it was lovely - buffet style mainly but plenty of hot food and gourmet sausages. The Opus Bar is one of the recommended bars to go to in Manchester. It was quiet when we were there but you have to try the cocktails - Halle Berry (£10). The spa is lovely - the pool area is very tranquil.
On the negative side the wifi kept cutting out and it was torture trying to reconnect. Also I left my mobile phone behind me and I am still waiting to get this back!It is quite expensive to stay here - we paid €150 per night but it is worth it as a treat.

This is a lovely hotel, centrally located with friendly, helpful staff. The room was spacious and cleaned to a high standard. We ordered room service whilst at the hotel, the food was beautiful, generous portions and reasonably priced. The windows are all double glazed so all noise from the street is cancelled out. The choice of breakfast items was vast and all food was freshly cooked. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

When booking I'd requested a double. It was our anniversary. Yet on checking in they only had twin rooms left. Not a great start and something I've never suffered before. They told me they only guarantee requests if you book directly, yet didn't bother to tell me in advance that they couldn't accommodate the request.

Our room had a horrendous buzz from something electronic so avoid room 914 until it is fixed. Hopefully by then the TV will be fixed too so you can explore the hotel services on that - there's no literature on hotel services in the room, though the staff are helpful when you ring.

I'd expect more in room hot drink choice and not even a biscuit is poor for a hotel of this standard.

Not bad, but nowhere near expectations.

Thank you for your review. To clarify, room types booked via 3rd party web sites are on request only, however we do guarantee rooms booked on our own website. I was concerend with your comment about an electronic noise and having checked room 914, this now appears to have stopped. We have recently introduced hotel information pages within the television system in line with our sustainable policy and I apologise that this was not explained on arrival.

Met up with my sister for a stay on Sat 10th of May
From the moment we set foot in the hotel we felt special and well looked after
We could not fault the hotel in anyway at all
The staff were all happy and professional
The City view room we had was lovely and the bathroom was amazing
I have stayed in Radisson Blu hotels in other cities but this is by far the best
