“Good but pricey”
Reviewed March 30, 2013

We had a great day with our 2yo grandson. He absolutely loved it and ran him self ragged. It is nice to have places like this to let him run off energy without hurting himself. Loads of extras, the disco where about 50 kids danced to Gangnam Style was great fun. The price for parents is hard to justify but seems to be the way these places seem to operate which I feel is misguided. If it was a case of paying for the child only,we would certainly go more often but there is no more money to be had so visits are fewer. Certainly a puzzling policy in the current financial climate. The food was pretty good and pleased to say it was not a rip off and was well worth it.

The acid test is would we go back, a definite yes but less often than we would like.

“Play factore”

Bit on the pricey side, nevertheless my 4yo niece enjoyed it and there was a sensory room for our baby also. Staff seemed friendly enough only major downside is that you are unable to take your own food & drink to consume.

“Very Disappointing......”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

Monday 18 March 2013 - rang Play Factore in the afternoon enquiring over prices, was asked what age the children were, I informed them they were 7 years old and was then advised that the price would be £5.95. I also asked how busy it was and was advised it was quiet. When we arrived the actual price for 7 years old is £7.95. We were served by a young girl with no customer service experience, .....not great first impressions!!

We then found out that the Laser Tag was not available, we enquired at reception and were told that this facility is not available "off peak" (we were told to look at the signage in the entrance, which in our view is not bold enough to emphasise what is/is not available "off peak") the children were very disappointed as we have used the facility before and the Laser Tag has alwasy been open - when I rang I was not informed of this and this should have been stated when we rang. Will not be rushing back. On a positive when customers ring up to avoid future disappointment they should be advised what is or is not available.

Also, the children had their hands "stamped" with a permanent black ink as it is now Thursday (4 days later) and after much washing with various products it is still visable.....do not understand why they had to have their hands stamped in any instance?
