What a welcome addition to Manchester's eateries! I love Italian food and in particular the more traditional dishes that I have eaten in Puglia, so it is fantastic to find somewhere so rustic and authentic, albeit that the owner is from Naples. I love the mozzarella platters that come with roasted vegetables and the pasta dishes are amazing-just beware if you are dieting as they are huge! My favourite is the seafood pasta, which comes in a delicious tomato sauce and plenty of prawns, mussels, baby octopus and squid rings. Coffees are great too and be sure to ask for a little plate of the sweet treats, beautiful assorted biscuits imported from Sicily. Recently we have had to wait a bit longer than usual for our order to be taken and for food to arrive because they have been so busy, so if it is your first time perhaps avoid lunchtimes. They are busy for a reason though, and it is worth the wait!
