Love mozzarella, love this place. Lovely food, lovely staff, super service. If it's cold out, it will be cold in because it's open to the outside seating. Keep your coat on and live with it. It's worth it.

I don't easily good 5 stars as that means that everything was great, but here is a 5 star review. Yes the place is small, yes it doesn't have it's only loo but look past that and this is an amazing place/ The atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly, look after you well but interact with you and have fun which all adds to the experience. The food is amazing, I had a lake night snack on Friday and then came back for lunch on Saturday. Everything is from fresh, the smoked mozzarella just tastes soooooooo good, the pasta is cooked just as it should be. I just wished they had a place in Guildford where I live! You can have a cooked meal, a sandwich or just a cake and a coffee, I would recommend them all!

went here based on other peoples reviews...absolutely stunning food!!

the staff are really friendly and are very keen to chat to the customers, it was really hard to choose what to eat from the menu as it all sounded delicious, one of the members of staff suggested a plate with a bit of everything on it ( hams, salamis, figs, smoked mozzarella, mushrooms, artichokes, bufala mozzarella and more, served with fresh ciabatta bread), i can honestly say that all the food was absolutely delicious and a pure joy to eat, the mozzarella is made in italy and flown in every week...amazing!! went there the following day and ordered pasta carbonara..again it was stunning and the staff recognised us from the previous day and continues to chat with us throughout the meal.

the pasta they serve is cooked to order and was perfectly al dente.

score 10 out of 10...really look forward to returning there and would highly raccomend it to everyone

My girlfriend recommended this place and I was not disappointed. A Chef myself, we have often looked for-but never found- Italian food of this quality in the UK from both restaurants as well as our wholesale suppliers.
The meats, mozzerella and Olives are fantastic, the pasta perfectly cooked (al dente).
The only other time I have ever had food like this was in a agro-toursitic farmhouse in Southern Italy that grew everything themselves from the olives for the oil to the grapes for the wine.

Perhaps it may not be the most "fine dining" experience you will enjoy, but the service is friendly and informal and in our opinion this is what we most enjoyed when visiting restaurants in Calabria and Rome. Authentic, simple, quality food served without pretension and with the produce speaking for itself. They also have a deli section where you can buy the produce they themselves import and use for their menu

Highly recommended

A lovely Italian Deli which serves authentic Italian tasty food (certain ingredients are imported from Italy). I had a beautiful mixed "antipasto" with mozzarella and different kinds of Italian salami and a great pasta alla carbonara (the type of pasta was not ideal as the tradition would require either spaghetti or penne, but probably that's just me being Italian and fussy, otherwise the recipe was perfect - no cream!!). The meal ended with some lovely cannoli alla siciliana (the ricotta cheese comes directly from Sicily). Considering the informal service, the bill was a little pricey but I enjoyed the meal throughout. The bread was delicious.
