Arrived 15 minutes early. The restaurant already had a buzz and a good ambience. Shown straight to our table. Orders taken quickly and efficiently, and the service stayed at the same high level through out.

One unusual thing about the evening was all 3 courses were done to an extremely good level. I had a goat's cheese tart (great little twist on the flavours), Veal and a quirky (but tasty) take on an Eton Mess. My wife's food was extremely good - the scallops were the pick of what she had.

No complaints and will definitely revisit. If you like the Rosegarden or No 4, you'll like this place.

We were a party of 12 on a weekend visit to Manchester most of us foodies, we had the offer of 3 course's and a glass of bubbles for £25 having been fortunate to have dined in a couple of michelin star restaurants and been very disappointed the quality and presentation of the food hear was first class the flavours were perfect . The cocktails were lovely and again on offer we all said that we would return hear if we came back to Manchester we done to all the staff for making us welcome faultless service.

Decided to visit after reading the reviews.
First impressions good, white starched cloths ,well dressed staff ,clean toilets.
The service was quick although there were only a handful of people in at lunchtime.
The Manchester Rarebit was a disappointment , a very thick slice of bread with a scraping of rarebit,a very small salad garnish and a few salty chips . Expensive for what was on offer.
The wine was very overpriced for the quality.
It is trying to cater for too many different tastes. I think I will stick with it's neighbours in future.

Lovely building slightly hard to find. Really nice food service is not so good staff didn't seem to know the drinks they had on the menu, Had to order one drink three times because the waiter didn't know what it was.

We were a party of four dining here for the first time last Saturday evening, when we ordered we had to wait for an hour before receiving our starters! We then had to wait another 45 minutes before our main meal came. We had asked the waitress after about 30 minutes when age said it would be ready very soon. Don't know what was going on the kitchen that nigh, because we were not the only ones to complain about the wait. It was a shame really, because the food when it did eventually arrive was very nice and well presented. I don't think we will be going back again.
