Description: Our celebrated restaurant is re-opening in bigger and better premises in the former Market Restaurant on High Street in the Northern Quarter. A brand new location. A brand new menu. The same exquisite French cuisine And to celebrate our move, we have new menus and a new wine list. Our goal has always been to bring you a taste of Paris, with dishes such as our Pea consomme and poached quail egg, Pan fried sea bass, Duckling fillet, chocolate fondant and, of course, coffee served at the perfect temperature - 63°. As well as more covers, our wonderful new premises means we can now offer our diners an outside terrace and private function room. I experienced the tasting menu available on tuesday evenings only, at the cost of £25 pp.

I'd heard very positive things about this restaurant, and wondered if it could live up to its positive reviews? It was gorgeous. The portions weren't massive, but enough. The meal was good quality produce, cooked really well. Im so happy to have found a authentic slice of france in our city. I have already booked again, twice!

This was a brilliant birthday meal out.
Although it seemed *possibly* as though it had the potential to be pretentious upon walking in, it was a really relaxed atmosphere and as I've since discovered after a holiday to France, the service is deliberately "slow" though we all appreciated this as it gave us chance to chat and enjoy the various fine dining courses without feeling as though they were trying to get the food out quick and turn the table around for the next diners. We spent 3 hours at our table which I've never experienced before- bliss!

A little pricey but absolutely worth it and I'll definitely be returning and would not hesitate to recommend it to locals and visitors to Manchester alike.

N.B The only reason I've scored the bar area and outdoor seating as one star, is because they're not available there!

Booking
This was an easy process, just a quick phone call.

Food
The menu is small but seems to cater for all tastes.
The is approx 7 starters, mains and deserts.
The food that was served was excellent and we had side dishes to share.

Service
The service was good if a little slow especially when trying to pay the bill.

There is a good atmosphere in the restraunt and I would recommend a visit.

Diner for 2 in sept13 was really good
We had foie gras and a lobster salad to start, both excellent, followed by the cannon of lamb and the scallops. The food was well presented, cooked to perfection and the flavours were really good. The service was impeccable.
great wine selection too. we will be booking again when we are next in Manchester

We ate here on Friday 30 th August and had a very enjoyable dining experience. If you enjoy fine dining then this is one to seek out in Manchester. The dishes are imaginatively presented with a rewarding combination of ingredients, all with a recognisably French influence. The service was impeccable and the wine list is sensible in terms of complementing the food and cost. Next time we are in Manchester we would definitely return.
