Description: Our celebrated restaurant is re-opening in bigger and better premises in the former Market Restaurant on High Street in the Northern Quarter. A brand new location. A brand new menu. The same exquisite French cuisine And to celebrate our move, we have new menus and a new wine list. Our goal has always been to bring you a taste of Paris, with dishes such as our Pea consomme and poached quail egg, Pan fried sea bass, Duckling fillet, chocolate fondant and, of course, coffee served at the perfect temperature - 63°. As well as more covers, our wonderful new premises means we can now offer our diners an outside terrace and private function room. One thing that hasn’t changed is our commitment to serving exquisite French cuisine in a relaxed and welcoming environment. We look forward to welcoming you to our new home.

The portions really aren't too great and to make it worse -bizarrely for a French restaurant they do not serve any bread. Now its well known that this is a good way to fill people up when the portions are small and if it's decent artisan bread it contributes greatly to ethereal. Even though I enjoyed everything we felt there needed to be more of it....

Met with 2 friends for a special celebration. It was a first time visit for all of us and we were very impressed with the service, quality of food and drinks. The 63 Degrees fully deserves its growing reputation.

It's expensive and the portions are modest but the food is high quality and well-presented. My starter of smoked salmon stuffed with celeriac was unusual & tasty. Duckling fillet with polenta and fresh raspberries was served just as I'd requested (not too pink). Accompanying salad was a handful of leaves in a bowl which, at £3.80, was a bit cheeky. Good cheese. Charming French and American staff. A haven of tranquility in the hubbub of a Manchester Saturday night.

I visited 63 degrees for a birthday celebration with two friends and would heartily recommend the experience. Not cheap but excellent.

We started the evening next door in The Unicorn which I would also recommend.

For starters we tried their remoulade, rissoto and sea bass tartare. Mains were scallops, cod and duckling fillet. Not massive portions but in keeping with the feel of this high end restaurant.

Cheese to follow and all washed down with two bottles of their Merlot and followed by Napolean brandy coffees.

The total bill, before gratuity, was £202.

The interior is a little dark but there was a quiet and relaxing atmosphere which is all the more surprising given the hustle and bustle of a Saturday evening outside - which burst in on us briefly as a young woman, high on who know's what, ran around the restaurant, pursued Keystone Cops style by the waiters.

My wife and I were in Manchester for the day and we decided to stop into this restaurant for lunch. We were met with a friendly atmosphere and were always looked after by the attentive staff. The service was prompt and the food, while a bit pricey, was absolutely fantastic. You definitely get the quality that you're paying for.
