This place has a nice atmosphere & everything, but every time I've eaten here the food has been so under-seasoned as to be completely bland. I'll stick to drinks.

We had family Sunday lunch here with four generations present and the staff looked after us all, from Great Granny to the three month old baby! The space is cramped but that doesn't take anything away, in fact it adds to the lovely cozy family feel.
The staff were busy throughout but still made time to look after us all. The food was excellent as was the beer and wine.
If you don't book, get here early as it is small and very popular.
Highly recommended.

Great little bar/restaurant. The Sunday lunch is amazing! Make sure you get there early as there are only a few tables.

Having had Sunday lunch, regular lunch and evening meals here, I can honestly say its one of my favourite, ok favourite place to eat. We usually have to wait for a table, but for the sake of having a nice pint at the bar, it's well worth it! Staff are always friendly and accommodating and the menu has some firm favourites as well a few seasonal options.

Quality of ingredients used is always second to none and local and I think this makes a big difference to the taste of each dish. Portions are generous and there are always good vegetarian options. We'll be back here again and again!

We decided to try the parlour for sunday lunch while visiting our son and his wife for the weekend and arrived just after 12 and got a table for 4 which we were told we would have to vacate by 1.20 as it was reserved for 1.30.There were 3 real ales at the bar and i had two pints of the porter which was excellent .My wife,my self and our son had the roast beef which came with crunchy roast and creamy mash potatoes,a large yorkshire pud and veg which we all enjoyed.Lucy had a veggie soup which she said was very tasty. We all enjoyed our experience at the Parlour and will go again on our next visit to Manchester but next time will book a table.
