This restaurant is literally on our new doorstep (we have just moved to Northenden). My partner and I love good food and eating out. She especially enjoys Thai food so we thought we would give Dalat a try. The place itself is fairly small and simply decorated but don't be put off by this. We tried had prawn toast and thai fish cakes for starters followed by a couple of vietnamese dishes:-
Beef Phad khee mao
(Stir fried rice noodle with chili, vegetables and holly basil) and
King Prawn Khao Phad Kaprao
(Spicy fried rice with chilli, onion, fine bean, pimento and holly basil)
I wasn't expecting to get too lovely authentic dishes, but that is exactly what they provided in a pleasant environment and with quick friendly service. The entire meal (2 courses with a couple of drinks) was about £25 and well worth it. We will be going back for more!
