I booked here for a weekend stay in Manchester.
Firstly, the good things going for it, the location is good, you can walk to the city centre etc, the staff generally were polite. The food was average. The hotel is obviously very chain, but that's to be expected. Unfortunately, for us the downside was the noise. One night we were woken up at 2am but a drunk man shouting in the corridors. I know this isn't the hotels fault, but the individual so we thought that's fine as a one off. But the next night, AGAIN we were woken up by drunk women laughing and shouting in the corridors, again in the early hours. The place is full of drunks and noise and not somewhere you want to stay if you want a good nights sleep. It really let the hotel down. When you spend £60 a night, for this to happen every night of you stay, it's just not good enough.

Booked in Tuesday, stayed till Saturday. Had a lot going on this wk or id of booked straight out. Bedding well used minging and white linen - grey. Bed nackered and squeeked every time i moved in bed which kept waking me up. They failed to clean service the room for the whole of my stay. Friday night loads of drunken yobs stayed, hallway full of litter, macdonalds wrappers, and someone had vomitted on the control panel of the lift and it was not cleaned off properly, I pressed the button, realised what had gone on and it was too late. That was on the way to breakfast. Utter squalid conditions, if ur a hard worker looking for value for money, go somewhere else. I absolutely refuse to ever stay in a travel lodge ever again! The manager offered twenty pounds off my next stay, but i told him i wasnt looking for money, and that money off is no good because I woukd never stay at a travel lodge ever again!

Stayed at this hotel on 30th March for 1 night, and as with our previous 6 stays we had a quiet and relaxing night. On check in the receptionist named Louise was very pleasant and helpful, we were given our keys went to our rooms and as always they were clean and well presented. We had an evening meal, which we found to be tasty and good value for money, before going to the Dancing on ice evening show.
After a good nights sleep, we had breakfast , and as always was a good start to the day. As we have stayed here a number of times now, I can say its a very good hotel, and would always stay here when going to shows at the arena.

Room Tip: All rooms are of a good standard
