A lovely new hotel close to shopping, bars, buses and tram stop. The rooms were great, there was 3 of us and we could share the 1 room, the shower was lovely. I did not like the breakfast, the toast was either burnt or warm bread, there was no bacon tomatos or mushrooms, just beans scrambled egg and sausages. I found one member of staff was very rude a breakfast 1 morning. he told me to put my tray on the tray trolly and not on the table next to it he then came back and rudely ask me was4 i finished with that plate which had been left on the table and was not even mine, i walked pass him later and he gave me a horrible look. I also got verbily abused in the lift by other guests. I will be looking at other hotels when i return to manchester.

Had the hotel for a night free of charge due to points accrued on the priority credit card so it was good value as ive no idea what the usual room rates are.
We found the staff friendly and helpful .
The room was nice, clean and well appointed but you would expect this from a brand new hotel.
Its handy for the northern quarter of Manchester and there are loads of shops bars and restaurants nearby.
The breakfast was average, eggs beans sausage and bread, self served in a small galley area which isnt very welcoming.
There is a bar but the prices are extortionate, just over 10 quid for a pint of San Miguel and a Martini and Lemonade...we only had the one!!
All in all we had a good stay and would recommend and return to the hotel...buying liquid refreshment from the Spar outside!

Stayed here for 2 nights, attending a concert at the MEN. Would thoroughly recommend it. Good value, and easy walking to MEN.
Rooms spacious and quiet. Easy access to numerous restaurants and bars. If you are here on a Saturday night I recommend booking dinner at a restaurant as it gets busy.

Only major gripe, breakfast collection area is badly laid out (see other reviews), food is fine. Suspect this is a European design where hot food would not usually be provided.

One minor gripe, kettle and coffee area in room is too cramped to use easily.

Cannot comment on parking as we came by train !

Stayed here overnight on a Saturday and paid £68 for a double. Checking in was quick and easy. The room fairly spacious and we appreciated the sofa which you quite often don't get in a budget room. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was great. It was also quiet in the room on what was a busy Saturday night. The only downside was that the room felt a little cold, even when the heating was on full.

We didn't have breakfast but looked into the room when we were checking out and it didn't look too much of a scrum.

All in all it's a good hotel in a convenient location.

Having booked and paid for my hotel room on October 22nd, for one night stay on 2nd December 2012 I was looking forward to a relaxing nights stay. When we checked in (by Duane) we were asked how we would like to settle our bill, I immediately advised him that the bill had already been settled, he checked and then confirmed that it had been settled prior to arrival. Our stay was comfortable, the room was very clean but the quite small. Breakfast was ok, but limited and served on the cool side of warm. When checking out we were once again told the bill had been settled and we were free to leave. Upon checking our Internet banking later in the day I discovered a discrepancy of £76.50 (just happened to be our room rate!!) I called the central reservations team who advised that a payment had been taken on the night of my stay, and no trace of my payment made in October could be traced, even though payment had to be taken at the time of booking to secure the advanced rate offered! I am still waiting for a call back from the hotel to discuss the entire issue!

Stayed here for a Single night whilst attending a concert at the MEN. The hardest part initially was finding the Hotel & somewhere to park, after going past it at the first try, eventually parked in the slip road by the Crowne Plaza to drop our bags off.
The staff on the front desk soon gave us directions on were to park, staff generally were friendly & very helpful but on returning to the desk later I was surprised 2 of 3 people had little local knowledge on Manchester, fortunately the 3rd person knew the area & even rang the place we wanted to visit to confirm location.
The Hotel location was superb, within 2-3 minutes walking distance of the Arndale & the printworks & cheap ( £4.80) 24 hour parking nearby.
The rooms are quiet & you do not feel you are in a city centre hotel, only two problems - even with the air conditioning switched off the motor continued whirring throughout the night in the bedroom which led to disturbed sleep, 2nd point, others have already commented about the Breakfast area & the food area itself is a bit of a design fault, however the breakfast was good & no problems in the eating area itself.
Will definitely stay in this hotel again when visiting Manchester
