Visited on a rainy Friday evening and managed to get a table inside, there aren't many and have been before when it's impossible even to stand anywhere without being in the way. Has a lovely quirky interior, art all over the bare walls and the bookshop and framers to the rear. Bar is small but well stocked with interesting beers and a wonderful selection of teas on display.

Staff were very friendly and pointed us to local bottled from Brightside. One was lovely, the other a bit warm, maybe it was poor stock rotation.

Didn't eat this time but have had nice pizza & nibbles of pate, hummus, dips before. All very nice, quick and tasty.

Nice and chilled atmosphere and we went back for a coffee and a slice of lovely cake the next morning.

I would say that The Art Of Tea is one of the best places in Manchester to have tea/coffee and snacks. The interior is impeccable and the staff are lovely. Although it does get really busy sometimes and in those cases I don't bother going in and looking for a seat since it is relatively small on the inside. Overall it's a fantastic establishment.

Soup was cold, served in chipped bowl. Portion sizes have halved. Beer wasn't on draft, therefore had to buy bottle, meaning that a larger-shady was £5.15. Been going since first opened, however won't be going again.

Just popped in for the first time to have a coffee and decided to stay for lunch. The menu has just enough choice and what they serve they do so really well. Nice selection of alcoholic drinks too which was a welcome surprise. Friendly staff and reasonably priced.

My daughter and her fiancé, who live nearby, took myself and my partner here on a recent visit. The food is interesting: excellent sausages and mash for myself and future son in law, a spicy vegetarian lentil special for Paula and croque monsieur for my daughter. All of these were washed down with draft Czech Kozel lager, a selection of ciders and a bottle of white, all very reasonably priced. There is also an extensive range of bottled beers on the menu. The service throughout was excellent.

The restaurant/café shares its premises with a second-hand bookshop and picture framers. There is a range of art displayed on the walls and the 'feel' of the place was very comfortable. Good value in a most inviting atmosphere.
