This is an ongoing development
We visited first when it was on BBC competition for funding which it won

Beautiful old bath house block on the middle of a relatively run-down part of Manchester behind the University and MRI; open at slightly odd times and has had a rough ride recently as a permanent use for it is proving difficult to work out; keep an eye out for special open days

Love this on the outside but a bit disappointing to start with. Really enjoyed the building but as a tourist attraction its a bit disappointing.

We had the best of both worlds...a rummage round some vintage stalls and a look around the splendid Victorian baths. The painstaking restoration is still ongoing but all of the rooms were open to view and the original changing cubicles were being used by the stall holders for trying on - great photos! Stunning original features all over the building from ironworks to doors to stained glass panels...at sight to behold. Well worth a visit.

Victoria Baths are simply stunning . Currently in process of a very slow restoration it is probably the finest example of a public swimming bath ( actually its 3 separate baths really) in the UK - well worth a visit but don't take your trunks for a while yet!!
