This is a nice park with some interesting plants and a well-made nature trail, but a bit on the far side to call it a botanical garden. Well worth a visit if you're nearby anyway, but not really worth travelling for. Nice place for tea though.

Its an awful place you won't like it, especially on a gloriously beautiful sunny day when you want to wander through lush greenery and daydream about the m ost crazy things that you are glad no one else can see you thinking - please stay away :)

Fletcher Moss gardens is lovely in all the seasons! A beautiful rock garden is nice for a stroll all year round. There are tennis courts and woods and different styles of garden. Lovely little tea room too! Thought to be the birthplace of the RSPB! The house of Emilly Williamson (founder of the the RSPB) is in the grounds! Leads out to the river mersey which is nice if you want to lengthen your walk!

Fletcher Moss in Didsbury is a hidden gem. I am almost in two minds about letting the secret out. Well worth a visit, walk in from Didsbury village on a sunny day it is a delight.

Fletcher Moss has it all. Luxurious garden excellent coffee and treats in the park cafe. I bought local honey here on one of my visit. There are magnificent trees and lawns plus the wild meadow. This park in the middle of Didsbury is an oasis of tranquility. Families children older visitors will find much to enjoy here. Plus it is possible to exit the park and visit the beautiful parsonage garden then maybe a beer or two in one of the nearby pubs. The St James church is also nearby and the gravestones show a bit ofthe history of the area.
