When to this place as our original choice in Manchester for Arabic food was not well loved when searching the local foodie websites; we should not have been worried it was fantastic.
I checked their website and gave them a call as this meal was an early Friday evening one after work to set us up for the weekend. They confirmed that they would be open for us at 6:30 pm. My wife and I travelled over and there was a parking space right outside the restaurant –good start.
We were warmly greeted by the owners son who explained that they were now licenced and had a good range of wines and would soon be having a range of Lebanese wines also, he also offered to suggest selections off the menu if we were not sure.
We ordered to cold starters Hummus, Moutabal and mains of Lahem Meshwi and Chicken Basha, all served with plenty of bread and heaps of flavor.
We arrived about 6:30 pm and left at about 7:30 pm and for the whole time we were the only ones in the restaurant, however without fear of repeating myself the food (and particularly the Lahem Meshwi) was fantastic.
Would I go here again – certainly and hopefully without my car so we can make full night of it. I would have scored this a 5, but the lack of atmosphere just dropped it to a 4.
