Easy to navigate, good variety of places to eat and shop. try Lola's cupcakes on the upper level for some tasty mini treats or shop at one of the many gift/novelty stores on site. Excellent place to pick up an express train to Gatwick!

The building is beautiful, with a streamlined process of getting from trains to trams, there was some kind of dispute regarding youths and the transport police, however, the matter was dealt with and no passengers were at risk. This station does become quite busy at peak times, like most I suppose. You can easily fin d your way around and there are services to most destinations. there are also bars and shops on the platform with access to the arena. I feel safe at this station.

I use this train station a lot and it's a good station. Plenty of staff on hand to offer a friendly service. Plenty of coffee/food outlets to use when waiting for a train. Lovely to see the station displaying poppies just prior to the exit.

Travelled to Liverpool from here, as it was within walking distance from my hotel - Travelodge Manchester Central. I loved to see the old features, but I did not think that it sat very well with the modern roof, which attached it to the Arena. Though I am sure that it is a great asset to have the Arena connected to the train station. It looked handy having the Metrolink station there as well. Made a mistake at the ticket machine, but had an excess ticket produced at the nearby ticket office, though the person in the ticket office, barely spoke more than a few words to me.Station was not very busy when we were there.

Manchester Victoria station is very nice and modern. The station is historic and very easy to access the city by train.

I love the old booking offices and the brick buildings BUT that new (to me) roof??? It looks like a polytunnel or the Eden Project

Well organised and quite high level visibility of friendly security staff which was appreciated. Easy access station, much better than some others in the city.

I have been traveling from Manchester stations for years. This is my favourite station in Manchester. Out of all the stations in Manchester it is the easiest to operate and navigate. The ticket machines are located near the ticket barriers which is good. There is a few shops and can get a good coffee or breakfast. There is always staff at the barriers or near the screens with the times of trains on. There is staff on every platform. Lifts are good but don’t feel stable. In my opinion it’s the easiest and most convenient station in Manchester.
