We stayed at this hotel for one night before flying from Manchester Airport. We booked a normal guest room with an option for upgrade for £10 which you find out when you get there. Check in was rushed as they were busy, no mention of upgrade was mentioned so we assumed we didn't get it. Room was ok, the view wasn't great onto a roof with lots of vents/pipes etc..
Bar and restaurant were ok and fairly busy, we opted for the 3 course deal for £25 a head.
Food was ok and our waiter was superb, sorry I can't remember his name.
Not a bad nights sleep, breakfast was a little chaotic as most food wasn't out when we got down, lucky we wasn't in a rush. On check out our bill came to around £80 for the room and £92 bar and food bill. It was only then that we saw we had been given the upgrade. So it our room was upgraded I wouldn't like to stay in a basic room.
Would we stay here again? I'd have to say no.More
