We booked this hotel as I was running the Great Manchester Run, and more by luck than judgement it was virtually on the start line. It was very easy to find, park and access the city centre on foot.
All the staff we met were friendly and helpful and we were able to keep the room longer the next day which was great. Room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom lovely.
My only gripe was that two girls were trying to manage breakfast and couldnt - we didnt have the cooked as no one came back for our order as they were running around. Poor service for a £15 breakfast. Apart from that, couldnt fault it.
It was noisy but that wasnt the hotel and was the price you pay for a city centre location. Having said that, someone was having a bad evening as music was blaring from one room on our floor although it didnt disturb us at all.
Overall, very good.More
